Dit jonge meisje is geïnspireerd op zwart wit vintage foto's van begin 19e eeuw. Ze is één van de"Vintage Inspired series" portretten  die geëxposeerd wordt in The Coffee Company in Rotterdam vanaf december 2013 t/m februari 2014. 

  HB en 4B potlood op 300 gr Fabriano tekenpapier, 297 × 420 mm.

This young girl is inspired on vintage black and white photo's from the early 19th century.
She is one of the few "vintage inspired series" portraits that is going to be exposed at the Coffee Company in Rotterdam December 2013 - February 2014.

Embroidering the fabric.

For my minor Digital Crafts this year I'm inspired by wood carved art pieces. I made a baroque inspired print that I digitalized and eventually abraded on fabric. This embroidery work will be sown into a cute cape for myself.

Can't wait to wear my own illustrated embroided cape!

Twins is inspired by an old vintage photo. In particular, the forced strict faces that were probably influenced by the exploding flash powder of the old camera, was my inspiration for this drawing.  

The fashion magazines from nowadays show models with the same facial expression. I added the old and new together in this illustration.

Twins is geïnspireerd op een oude vintage foto. Met name de geforceerde strenge blikken, die wellicht beïnvloed waren door het ontploffende flitspoeder van de oude camera, waren voor mij de inspiratie voor deze creatie. De modebladen van nu laten vrouwen zien met dezelfde blik. Zo voegde ik het oude met nieuwe samen in een illustratie.
